I am using MS Word XP (2002) - QUESTION: I am duplex printing 400
pages, how do I get the chapter breaks and "SECTION BREAKS" to print
on the right hand side as in a regular bookstore book. I need this to
happen automatically so I do not need to reformat the text for
printing each time I add/remove words.

There is no answer at this time.

Dear Kongulu,

When you insert a section break in a Word document, you are given the
option of selecting "odd page". This ensures that the following text
starts not only on a new page but on the next new page with an odd
number. This odd-numbered page, of course, will be a right-hand page
(or "recto"), so using "odd page" section breaks at each new chapter
should achieve what you need.

I trust this helps.

If only it really worked that way. I spent a day before asking the
question fiddling with MS Word. Finally, I found the answer in some
obscure forum. When you insert an "ODD" Page break one would expect
all the odd pages to fall on the right, but that does not always
happen, so what you have to do is go to the text (paragraph)
immediately following the "ODD" section break and designate it as
"ODD" also.

But thanks for taking the time to respond.
