Hi Mike ~
It appears that you only recently registered your domain on June 30th
with melbourneit.com. A reasonable assumption would be that you
submitted your URL to Google after that.
When a site is submitted using Google's Add URL, it is not unusual for
it to appear and disappear from Search Results. This is because it has
only been crawled by Google's Freshbot. (Freshbot is Google's daily
crawler, which crawls newly-submitted URLs and sites with
regularly-changing content.)
It does take some time for those sites to be picked up by all of
Google's numerous servers, and can sometimes take up to three months
or longer for a site to appear in Google's Index.
If it seems to be an inordinate amount of time to get listed, Google
also recommends submitting your site to DMOZ and Yahoo!, which may
help speed up your listing in Google. (See "What else can I do to get
listed in Google?")

Submitting your site to DMOZ may also help getting listed with its
Open Directory Project (ODP) partner sites. Some of the better known
are:
* AOL Search (and Netscape Search)
* Ask Jeeves (and Teoma)
* DirectHit
* Dogpile
* Excite
* HotBot
* Google
* Infospace
* Lycos
A more up-to-date listing of other search utilities using the DMOZ ODP
can be found here:

Other Search Submissions:
========================
While you're waiting for your site to make its way into Google's
index, it doesn't hurt to submit to other sites as well. Here are the
URLs of some search engines you may want to include:
* AllTheWeb:
- http://www.alltheweb.com/add_url.php
* AltaVista:
- http://addurl.altavista.com/addurl/new
* Yahoo!:

How You Submit Your Site:
========================
When submitting your site, avoid using unauthorized computer programs
to submit pages, check rankings, etc.
Google's Guidelines say, "Such programs consume computing resources
and violate our terms of service. Google does not recommend the use of
products such as WebPosition Gold™ that send automatic or programmatic
queries to Google." (Google's Quality Guidelines - Basic principles)
- ://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html
That could lead to being penalized. It may be time consuming to submit
by hand, but it takes much more time to attempt to get relisted if you
are penalized.
Search Engine Information:
=========================
All the search engines strive to return relevant search information
and regularly change their algorithms improve their service. It helps
to stay abreast of those changes, and two excellent sources of
reliable information are Danny Sullivan's Search Engine Watch and
WebmasterWorld.com.
* Search Engine Watch
- http://www.searchenginewatch.com
* Webmaster World
- http://www.webmasterworld.com
Both will no doubt provide you with more information than you might
ever need about search engine submission and listing requirements.
With all the new sites added to the Internet every day, and new site
submissions to the search engines, it takes time to get listed. The
best you can do is submit and be patient as you wait for them to catch
up with you.
Good luck in your undertakings, and best wishes for your search engine
placement.
