Hi!
I currently have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, and am
employed in a development position, but I would really like to develop
video games. To this end, I would like to participate in a graduate
degree program concentrating in Video Game Development. Specifically,
I am interested in developing for Massively Multiplayer Online Games
(MMOGs).

I would like information about game development graduate courses in
the United States, preferably in the north and either on one of the
coasts or in the midwest. I specifically am looking for courses that
offer information on online games development, but if there are no
such creatures, I understand.

I would prefer a US institution, but if the course includes online
development as part of the curriculum, please feel free to include
international courses (or even ones from the southern US (shudder)).

Many thanks.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but have you heard of
the Guildhall at Southern Methodist University?

Yes, I have. It seems like a really excellent program, but not exactly
what I'm looking for. It is something I am considering, though.

Thanks! :)

I haven't yet heard of courses specifically designed for MMOGs but the
University of Washington offers a certificate in Game Development
http://www.outreach.washington.edu/extinfo/certprog/gam/gam_gen.asp
and, in the same geographic area, there's Digipen
