According to this newsgroup thread, the anti-lock brakes on the Honda
CR-V 2002 EX were defective:

I'm thinking about buying a Honda Civic EX 2002 or 2003, which would
come with ABS. Is there any information out there as to whether the
Honda ABS issue was limited to CR-Vs, or whether other models also had
problems? Also, I'd like to know how common the problem is.
