I understand that notebook computers with the new 32bit Cardbus
standard slots are backwards compatible with the older Type 2 PCMCIA
cards. My question is if new 32bit Cardbus adapter cards are usable
in older notebook computers with standard PCMCIA Type 2 slots. I am
not worried about performance issues; just if the cardbus card will
function in a Type 2 slot.
