Need to find Custom S-Video cables. They must be 10' to 25' 4 pin male to
male in the Mac style...meaning clear jacket with the silver braid.
Looking for quantity 65 total in varying lengths.

Clarification of Question by swmuseum-ga on 10 Jul 2003 06:45 PDT
OK. I am getting completely incorrect answers. To Clarify the cables
MUST BE the clear jacket with the silver braid inside (thus, MAC
like). I DO NOT need reegular black (or any other color) s-video
cables.

I'm not a video person, nor am I a mac person, but if this is what
you're looking for, great!

This company makes custom cables, though the page I’ve directed you to
is for translucent blue cables. You mentioned sixty-some quantity, I
suppose they might make them for you…

This company's cables are silver-braided, but with metal, not molded
plastic, plugs. This is higher quality than the molded plastic plugs,
but is not as “Mac”, and they’re expensive ($120 for 4 meters):

This store apparently does custom cables:

Quote:
“Need Custom Cables?
Please contact us at sales@mycableshop.com, or by phone @ 1 866 449
4498.”

While this company makes cheaper 5 meter braided cables (~$100):

Here’s another high-priced option (~$400):

Keep in mind that braided but not mylar-shielded cables (allowing you
to see the braids) are not as well shielded in general as solid
colored cables which do use mylar or aluminum as shielding.

Good luck.
