Please provide books or in-depth on-line reference guides providing
instruction on camera technology.

The purpose of this information is to train employees on camera
technology for video surveillance. I am not interested in cameras for
photography or for entertainment. An example of the type and level
of information I am looking for can be found at

My ideal reference is a 400 page complete technical reference guide on
cameras.

I am looking for books and or information published since 2000. 
Information more than a few years old can be significantly outdated.
