I saw, in a magazine, a cd burner that I thought was made in
Singapore. Perhaps
that's where the company was located. It functioned without a PC and
its pri-
mary purpose was to burn photos directly from the card of a digital
camera. It had at least six different slots for the "cards" of the
major digital cameras.

Hello scuba1,

The product I have found:

Is portable, no PC needed - uses four rechargeable AAs
Copies direct to CD
Supports all digital memory card formats via one slot
Can also be used as an external CD-RW drive via USB
Costs about $300

I can't find a Singapore connection.
Only one slot (supports all major memory cards)

Shall I post it as an answer or do you need more than one slot? An
advantage to having only one slot is that it would weigh less than a
larger unit. If you have any questions about this product, just let me
know.

Thanks, hummer
