Error 1328. Error applying patch to the When I try to download an Office update I get the following. file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\MSACCESS.EXE. It has probably been updated by other means and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor please advise. Thank you Derek Duke |

I would guess that, as the error message indicates, the application has already been patched or odified in some way. Two of the most obvious reasons for this are either a virus, or (and don't take offence, this isn't an accusation! :) it's not a legitimate copy of Office. If you have an up-to-date virus checker, and it finds nothing untoward, you may need to resort to re-installing Office to make sure you have a "clean" version of Access. |

Thank you for your reply. No viruses must be a corrupt disc. The strange thing is that all programmes with exception of FrontPage function. |
