Error 1328. Error applying patch to the 
When I try to download an Office update I get the following.
file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\MSACCESS.EXE.
It has probably been updated by other means and can no
longer be modified by this patch. For more information 
contact your patch vendor
please advise.

I would guess that, as the error message indicates, the application
has already been patched or odified in some way.  Two of the most
obvious reasons for this are either a virus, or (and don't take
offence, this isn't an accusation! :) it's not a legitimate copy of
Office.

If you have an up-to-date virus checker, and it finds nothing
untoward, you may need to resort to re-installing Office to make sure
you have a "clean" version of Access.

Thank you for your reply. No viruses must be a corrupt disc.
The strange thing is that all programmes with exception of 
FrontPage function.
