Camcorder Panasonic NV-DS15/EN when connected to firewire to computer
P-4 does not respond through dv port. Tried with two sets of computers
having firewire. On same set another camcorder tested type
NV-DS51which also does not respond. Can firewire might damaged the DV
port of both camera. What damage might have happened to camera port
and how to repair? Please note analog output is functioning properly.

Is the firewire card OHCI 1.0 compatible? That may be your problem.
