Thank you for a most challenging question! After struggling with
Turkish to Enlish internet translators that didn't seem to
"understand" dental terminology, I finally found some excellent
references in English! If you can read Turkish websites, you have a
great deal on me!!!!
The "International Congress of Oral Implantologists" maintains a
worldwide directory of dentists who perform tooth implants. Each
member is considered very reputable in their field of practice.

The ICOI membership directory includes the type of dentist (e.g. a
general dentist or a specialist) as well as whether the ICOI member
performs the surgery or restoration or does both phases. Additionally,
members may be categorized as active members, Fellows, Masters or

Each office is involved with implant dentistry. Implants involve two
phases of treatment, placement of the implant(s) and placement of the
crown(s) or restoration(s). Some dentists feel they can offer better
solutions for you by using the different expertise of other team

What is Prosthodontics
Prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry pertaining to the
restoration and maintenance of oral function, comfort, appearance, and
health of the patient by the restoration of the natural teeth and/or
the replacement of missing teeth and contiguous oral and maxillofacial
tissues with artificial substitutes. This discipline includes Fixed,
Removable, Maxillofacial and Implant Prosthodontics .
Purpose of The Dental Clinic

Oral Implantology, the President of the ICOI and Director of the
department of Oral Implantology of Yeditepe University in Istanbul. He
has 18 years of experience with different types of implants.
It is possible that Dr. Sandalli could serve as a further referral
for names of implant dentists not included on the ICOI list. However,
most members of the Turkish Society of Oral Implantology are also
members of the ICOI. These dentists would obviously be the most
reputable contacts.

There are thousands of dentists in Turkey. Any one of them "might"
perform dental implants but not be a member of the ICOI or TSOI.
However, one might wonder at their educational background and
expertise.
A comprehensive listing of Turkish dentists, listed by location, can

dentist has a link with contact information, but there is no mention
of sevices provided.
