I currently have a PC running Windows XP Pro and have a number of shares set up on a peer to peer network. What I want to do is allow anyone to access the shares without a password besides one share that needs to be password protected. When I was previously running Windows 98 this was as simple as ticking the password box in the sharing pane but since XP uses Windows 2000 share setup I don't understand the configuration. I do not have acess to any machine besides mine so changing configurations on their machines in not an option. Also the network has a number of different operating systems that might potentially connect i.e. 98,XP,2000 |
