I am giving a (powerpoint) presentation to a group of people in Brazil
this coming August. I would like to include the work of a Brazilian
artist in the opening/closing slide, and perhaps smaller bits in the
ones in between.

I am looking for references (including high quality images) to at
least one, and preferrably three, Brazilian artists. Their work should
be appropiate for me to show (i.e., no nudes, sorry) to a group of
probably liberal folk.

The artists should be immediately recognizable as Brazilian artists to
a Brazilian (i.e., the artist is famous in Brazil, not that their art
is of obviously Brazilian theme.) To give you an idea, the British
painter who'd fit the bill in Britian might be Turner; the American,
Edward Hopper (but perhaps Jackson Pollock.)

At least one abstract work would be nice. Again, what is important is
that the artist be Brazilian, not that the work have images of Brazil
in it.

Let me clarify by adding that I am looking for artists in the "high
art" tradition (i.e., not the Brazilian equivalent of Norman
Rockwell.) Any century is fine.
