According to the 2000 US Census, there are 11.3 million two-parent
households with children under the age of 6 where only the father is
in the workforce. How many households fell into this category in 2001
and 2002? Essentially I am trying to determine the number of
stay-at-home moms with children under the age of 6 in the US
population. If you can find this number for 2002, 2001, and 2000, and
1990 that is fine also. If it is not possibly to determine the
children's ages, just the number of stay-at-home moms is ok. Please
include your data source in the answer, as well as exactly what data
is being provided.
