Question ID: 229065
I am trying to figure out two things: what level of cooling protection
I need for two 7200RPM, 200GB drives (mirrored) in my new PC. By that
I mean how much (how big, how powerful, full enclosed, etc.) of a hard
drive cooler I need. Second, I want to know what some of the better
hard drive coolers are in that category and the best prices for them.
Thanks!

If you have the space in your computer, one of those cheap (~$10)
mounting kits that will put your drives into a 5 and 1/4" drive bay
along with a couple little fans should keep the drives cool to the
touch.

Or, if your computer has front mounted fans, just mount the drives in
front of those (making sure they arent right next to each other for
better airflow) and you should get much the same effect.

Good luck with your hard drives, I know how hard it can be to get
multiple 7200rpm hard drives running cool (I have 7 in my current
computer!)
