Quadrex --

Pan Am was the most-active issue on the New York Stock Exchange on
July 1, trading 889,300 shares and closing at 30 1/8, down 5/8.

At the end of the month, Pan Am closed at 30 3/8 and volume was only
42,500 shares. For the year, the stock traded in the range of 28 7/8
to 36 3/4 during the first 7 months of the year. It had a dividend at
that time of .40 per share.

Google search strategy:
I used the New York Times stock tables from July, 1967 to get these
numbers. The New York Times is widely available on a full-text search
via Proquest Historical Newspapers, an online database available at
many public libraries.
