I have a Time Share contract from Shell Vacations. I got laid off a
few months ago so I can no longer afford it. I have about $3,000 in
it right now. Monthly payments of $100 on a $7,000 loan. How do I
get rid of it? If I stop making payments my credit will be affected
and I am going to be buying a house soon. I listed it with Century 21
but after 2 years, nothing - zilch. Any ideas???

Have you tried listing it on E-Bay?
You will need to be careful of what sale terms and how you list it,
but it may be a way to connect with interested buyers.

How many points do you have?
If you have Shell sell the package, they will charge you $99 for the
service. They say you will sell it...

My fiance' is in exactly the same situation. He paid $21,000 for 6000
points at the Donatello. He hasn't been laid off, but only makes
$28,000 a year. Right now I hate the "good" people at Shell
Vacations. I feel they saw a gullible person and acted completely
dishonerably.

Does anyone else know what a shell point goes for. I feel like he was
completely overcharged.

Thanks

P.S. I would never do business with Century 21. They are complete
rip-offs too. He got very bad advice from them. Their sites are
terrible. And they reneged on a vacation deal. Stay away from them!
