I'm a metal guitar player, and I need to know what the best cables out
there are for my style. Price isn't a big issue to me. I usually play
a Les Paul with high-output pickups, and lots of distortion.

I assume you are looking for the best cables that connect your guitar
to your pedal or amp. Is this correct? Do you have a preferred length
for your cables?

Yes, that's correct.  The preferred length is, well, as short as
possible that's still usable. I'd say 10 ft. and 5 ft.
