Lonnie Barron was born July 1, 1931 in Forrest Louisiana to Archie and
Alma Barron. While a young boy he chopped cotton to earn $5.00 which
he used to buy his first guitar. He learned to play and sing and was
popular at school parties. In 1948 he joined the U.S. Air Force, and
after that, he once again started
picking and singing country music. He had his own radio program on
WDOG, Marine City, Michigan. He also recorded on the Sage Label. His
last record was "Teenage Queen" b/w "Please Blue Heart".

Lonnie passed away on January 9, 1957. His fans were saddened and some
wrote poems to remember the Mississippi Farm Boy.

Lonnie was inducted into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame on
October 12, 1975

Hank Williams recorded "I don't care (if tomorrow never comes)" and so
did Hank, Jr. I found the chords/words and it shows that it was
written by Hank Williams. Could this be one of the songs you are
trying to find.
