Top secret scientists working at the top secret Government research
establishment at Porton Down have consulted the Oracle (otherwise
known as Pinky) and She has looked into her crystal ball ...

And Herman Blix has verified their findings ...

So it's about as accurate as a prediction as Man (or woman) can
possibly make ...

That Comment no 1,000 to Question 161982 will be posted on Wednesday
1st October 2003 @ 1500 hours GMT.

Is there any Researcher who has worked on astrological investigations who can
verify or demolish this prediction?

Dearest BrYan...

Since 531 of the existent 647 comments were posted in the
first 2 months following the question being posted, which is
82.0710973724884080370942812983% of the current posts,
this leaves 17.9289026275115919629057187017% of the
posts having been made in the subsequent 3 months.

At the current rate (which includes the results of advertising
by way of other questions which point to it, such as this one),
which is approximately 116 comments per 3 months, or
38.666666666666666666666666666667 comments/month,
it will take appoximately 2.999999999999999999999974137931
months to reach comment #1000, or, approximately another
89.99999999999999999999922413793 days, which would
result in the comment in question being posted on the
date of October 12th, 2003.

Being that I am utilizing the scientific approach, rather than
a mystical one, I do not presume to know the time of day
when the post will occur, however, I believe this is moot.

Since, in your question, you specified a researcher who has
worked on 'astrological' investigations, I have posted this as
a clarification, wondering if you would consider utilizing a
less mystical approach to 'verify or demolish this prediction'.

Hello, Sublime One

Being a complete ignoramus myself, I will readily bow to your sublime
expertise from whatever source you deem reliable.

Of course, I shall be monitoring whatever prediction you make most
carefully.

Kindest regards

Bryan

Bryan...

Given that this question is fairly new, I will defer posting
my mathematical approach as an answer at this time, and allow
other researchers the opportunity to critique the approaches
offered by Porton Down and myself, and offer their own insights
into this intriguing issue.

Prognostications by constellations isn't my thing, but I am very good
with gastrological investigations, in case you ever need a recipe. ;-)
