GoToast (www.gotoast.com) offers bid management software for managing
advertising campaigns on sites like Overture and Google. When using
GoToast, it is possible to makes changes not only to the BIDS, but
also to the AD CREATIVE? In other words, if I have several lines of
text that represent the actual offer I'm making in my ad, is it
possible to change those lines of text?

It should be possible to answer this question in under 30 min by
either calling GoToast or else reviewing their online FAQs.

Hello sumit03-ga,

I did receive a response back from John Osborn at GoToast - here is

Subject: Urgent Client Question - Bid Flexibility
Importance: High

Hello there,

I have a client that is interested in using your software to manage
their online advertising through the bidding system.

We have some questions about your service:

We understand that it is possible to make changes to a bid (the price
for an ad) based on certain rules, but is it possible to change the
actual content of the ad through the software or is this fixed once a
bid is placed?

Under what circumstances is it possible to do this?

Can different ads be created and placed into a rotation so that
different ad text is displayed either based on rules or a manual
change
by the user through the software?

My client is posed to make a decision regarding an advertising
strategy
very shortly, so your immediate attention to this question would be
appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I received this response about an hour later:

Hello,

You can use the Masterlist to upload a new copy to the search engine.
The
Masterlist submits keywords to the search engine twice a day (on a
different schedule than the BidManager).

Rotating ads through GO TOAST is not yet available.

Thank you for choosing GO TOAST.

Just to expand on the comments of the GoToast representative a little
further, there are actually two seperate products that work together
to perform dynamic bid management. You can only place one bid on a
specific keyword at a time, and if you would like to update the actual
text content of this ad, you can do so using Masterlist up to twice
daily (you could do it more often but it would have no effect). Since
only one bid is allowed per keyword, and the systems are not
integrated, you cannot use a rule-based system to display ads.

Hope this answers your question, please post a clarification if you
have any problems with the information above :)

Cheers!

AnswerGuru,

Your answer seems complete and accurate, but I think I overbid for the
question. Not sure that question was worth $25. What do you think it
was worth?

Thanks,

Hi again sumit03-ga,

I'm glad you were satisfied with the contents of my answer. Regarding
setting your list price, please consult the GA FAQ on pricing:

The reason that your question was answered as quickly as it was had a
lot to do with the price you had originally set - fairly or generously
priced questions are more likely to be answered more quickly. If you
