Greetings Rohaab:
From a message board at
http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/byform/mailing-lists/bookarts/1998/07/msg00005.html
comes this titled "Re: Protection for paper jewelry":
"You might want to try Liquitex Gloss Medium and Varnish. It paints
onto your finished product and dries in about 20 minutes. It can be a
little bit of a challenge to get it evenly applied to 3-D pins. It
brings the color out in paper and leaves a sheen.
"Another option is a spray coating made by Illinois Bronze that is
called Triple-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze. It was actually designed for
decoupage, collage and papier mache, and creates a bright, glass-like
coating on the project that is more durable than the Liquitex."
In another reply, Renaissance Wax was mentioned. I searched that term
and discovered a link at
http://www.silversmithing.com/cutleryspecialties/describe.htm#RENAISSANCE%20WAX
that explains what it is. You may consider using it for a more
delicate and moveable look.

Epoxy resin (clear and colored) is mentioned at
http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/7212/fauxpin.htm The artist, Nicolette
Hiott, also offer a How-to on the same page for a paper jewelry pin.
"I use epoxy resins in my work as a coating for my paper collage
jewelry...Epoxy resins usually come in clear form, however there are
some brands such as Rio Grandes Colores or Durenamel epoxy resins
which come in a variety of colors."

Should you require clarification of any of the links or information I
have provided, please request it and I will be happy to respond.
