My e-mail is not working. Messages sent don't go and incoming messages
except for earthlink itself don't come in. I have an x symbol over the
two computers symbol on the lower right side of my computer which
indicates that the local area connection network cable is
unpluggged(broadcom 440 x 10/100 integrator. Is this the problem and
how can I re-plug it?

Hi,

I just found your question and wonder if you had resolved your problem
yet? If not, what method of connecting do you use (dial-up, DSL,
cable, etc.)? Did your email suddenly stop working, or are you just
setting it up for the first time? What email program do you use? The
more information you can provide researchers about the situation will
make it more likely that someone can help. I have experienced this
same problem with my dial-up connection and Outlook Express.
