I'm trying to create a screen in Flash MX where I need to be able to
put XML generated buttons into a scrollpane so that the buttons don't
scroll off the page. I also need to be able to use an XML generated
drop down menu to change the movieclip that has the scrollpane in it.
So ... for example the baselayer has a drop down that is generated
from the XML data and when you select an option it changes the
movieclip to a new movie that has a scrollpane in it with the
dynamically generated buttons. I'm hoping to have detailed
instructions on how to accomplish this - especially the XML into a
scrollpane. Thanks.

I need to have these questions answered by Saturday, July 19th for a
deadline that I have. I'll be closing the question that night, even
if I don't have an answer. Thanks.
