There aren't many universities outside the UK whose lanuague of
instruction is English and who teach towards a BA in architecture. In
fact, I have found only two such universities. Other universities
teach courses in English, but their main language of teaching is the
local language; or have degree programmes other than BA in
Architecture. In addition, there are several European universities
that are not located in Western Europe, and offer degrees in English.

Search strategy:
(Country name) "university OR college OR school" architecture - for
all of the current members of the EU, Switzerland and Norway. Another
strategy used is
site:(country's Internet sign) architecture "university OR college OR

"language of instruction" english architecture - This search presented
universities (in general) whose language of instruction is English
(usually this is marked when the language of instruction is different
than the local one).
"american universities" OR "american university" and a country's name
(unfortunately, all American, International or European Universtities
- for which a search was also conducted - do not lead to a BA in
Architecture in English. The European University Institute in Budapest
might lead - I haven't checked because it is out of the limits of your
geographical definition).
"bachelor's degree in architecture" "language" english

"private school" architecture - this came out of the observation, that
in countries, whose official language is not English, it is mostly
private schools that teach in English.
I know that my answer might be dissapointing. I am writing this with
concern, that you might be not satisfied with it - but this is the
limited that is offered. On a personal note, I have studied a foreign
language at an old age, in order to study, and it was not as difficult
as people imagine. Several schools, such as schools in the Netherlands
and the Scandinavian, specifically stated, that although the language
of instuction is the local one, assitance would be given to a foreign
student. Please contact me if you need any clarifications on this
