Amazon also seems to suggest that there may be another Landau Book
Company involved in publishing of "Secrets of Professional Turf
Betting" which is the publishing house that the book is written under
...  however I can't seem to track Landau down either

I solved it and this was my process: The difficulty lay in the fact
that Amerpub Co/Landau have not published any books since the early
1980s, and there is no web reference to their existence. Additionally,
both those companies are not on any publishers' trade journals
(Publishers weekly/Publishers lunch) for publishing companies. Anyway,
I tracked Amerpub down by going through other books that they
published and finding out who else possessed subsequent rights to any
books they published. Some guy told me that they are affiliated to a
gaming magazine, which is still ongoing today, and I got in touch with
them...
