Question ID: 232582
How much does the 4 Stroke Rotax 1494 cc / 185 hp engine used in the
new See-Doo 2003 GTX 4-TEC SC weigh? Dry or wet weight would be fine.
Note I'm not looking for the weight of the whole watercraft at 900
lbs which is easy to find, but just the weight of the engine.

Larry95 --

Good luck with this one -- the engine appears to be so new as to
escape technical documentation on Bombardier-Rotax GmbH sites and
engine or parts distributor sites. (The Sea-Doo site doesnt' carry
much detail either.) The engine is a supercharged 4-stroke,
3-cylinder Rotax SOHC. This may be a case where you find additional
documentation in a month or three, as it comes into production.

Best regards,
