I'm looking for a simple program that opens a specific .mov
file in QuickTime and plays it for 1-10 seconds. The video is shorter
than 10 seconds so it may need to loop during playback. Fancy
interfaces or QT menu operations need not be included.

Filenames, etc. can be hardcoded.

Please include the appropiate resource statements, etc. I am aware
that I will need to get the QuickTime SDK for Windows from Apple.

The only other detail is that the video has to be displayed fullscreen
on a 2nd monitor hooked up to the computer.

Please ask for clarifications/price raise if neccesary.

Hi bizzle-ga,

Is it absolutely necessary that this code be implemented in C++?
Perhaps you could share what you are using this for so we can get a
better understanding of platform/performance requirements.

It does have to be C++. This code will have to be combined into
current C++ code. The basic setup is like this:

A master computer communicates with a slave computer. Currently,
after recieving proper instructions, the slave computer plays specific
sounds (defined by frequencies & duration). I need new code for the
slave computer that will instead play a video after recieving proper
instructions from the master computer.

If the code you are working with is not proprietary, it may help
myself or another researcher understand the context within which you
are trying to achieve this - can you post the C++ source code?

The code isn't mine so I don't know about posting it here. While it
may be useful; I'm really just after the code to do the QT video. I
can combine the new code into what's already there.

That said; if a researcher feels they can give me an answer I can
email you the source code.
