Hi, Guru

Tell me was Victor Grayson murdered or not?

And, if so, who collected his medals in (was it?) 1939.

And I don't just want LINKS, I want cast iron forensic evidence that
will stand up in the Court of Public Opinion.

Hmmm...

I'll be gone for few months/years, digging around in London. It might
stink, you know, 1920s bodies. If they don't hear from me again after
few months, please report this to the police and remind them that the
last place I was seen alive was in Google Answers.

Hmmmmmm

So he did die in 1920?

Well, at least, that's a start.

But, when you arrive in London, do give me a call.

I think I heard somewhere that The Court of Public Opinion recently
handed down a ruling saying that it's Cast Iron Forensic Evidence
Department doesn't produce Cast Iron Forensic Evidence for $5.

I suggest backing off on your requirements somewhat, PBP. Fibreglass
forensic evidence is very trustworthy, and (unlike the cast iron kind)
it is not rustworthy. ;-)

Well, according to

http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/SSgregory.htm
and
http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/TUgrayson.htm

"Grayson was never seen alive again. It is believed he was murdered
but his body was never found" (i.e. 28th September 1920, "not reported
missing until several months later").

Forensic evidence? A body never found?

Well, My dear FP,

This is why I am intending to begin with a series of excavations in
London. Feel free to join: given the vast territory, and the
possibility that the remains (?) of his body were eaten by the Themes
fish, it is going to be rather long (and all for $5 - we are
dedicated!). By the way, I am going to start with London's fish
restaurants, to search for whatever evidence possible. You could start
the digging. That way, job will be done with much more efficiency.

Thames fish!!! Not in those days, PG.
On the other hand, if the body was thrown into the Thames it would
probably have been dissolved by the pollutants, bones and all...

Well, politicalguru, digging could lead to some results:
