Question ID: 233490
What is the dominant type of raw material wood (as in pine wood vs.
cedar, etc...) used in regular briquet charcoal manufacturing in the
US today? A lot of charcoal is manufactured in MO and TN.
And what is the size of the international Charcoal
production/consumption market (all countries outside of the US) in
terms of annual tonnage volumes and dollars?

Thanks much.

Charcoal production/consumption in terms of charcoal BRIQUETS. As in,
BBQ charcoal briquets, not total charcoal amounts.

Looking for spot prices on raw materials for charcoal briquet
production in US. These woods are often used : Hickory, Oak, Maple
(hardwoods) and whatever consitutes "wood fuel", what I need now are
US domestic weekly or monthly spot prices over time (since 1990) for
these wood raw materials.

thanks.
