I want to buy a soundtrack cd of this movie but cannot find anywhere.
Can you point me where I can purchase it, or if it was never made then

I have good news and bad news.

The bad news:

It does not appear that a CD of this soundtrack was ever issued. The
film was a financial disappointment at the box office, and the demand
for a soundtrack album may not have been great.

The good news:

I can tell you where you can obtain a detailed listing of songs from
the soundtrack of "Life or Something Like It," including the names of
the songs and the names of the performing artists, lyricists, and
composers. Let me know if this would be satisfactory as an answer to
your question.

I'm sorry I couldn't find an actual soundtrack for you. These days,
movies that are less-than-successful often don't have a soundtrack
album available (which is very disappointing for those of us who love
a certain movie and its music).

Here you'll find a list of the songs played on the soundtrack of "Life
or Something Like It":

Note that, although the listing above says "Please check CD track
details for confirmation," this does not mean that a CD actually
exists; soundtracks listed by the IMDB typically have the line about
checking the CD track, regardless of whether or not there is a CD for

To locate this information, I visited the Internet Movie Database, a
wonderful source for all kinds of data about movies.

If there are particular songs from this soundtrack that you'd like to

awesome! it's great to know there is such database. Do you know where
i can find lyrics for these songs? i can probably just put the name of
the artist and song name in google search, but it would helpful to
know if there is such a main database for all the lyrics.

When I look for lyrics, I generally just do a Google search. I don't
know of any one lyrics database that has everything, but the one I
like best is "Leo's Lyrics," which may be found here:

It's most unfortunate that the soundtracks of unsuccessful movies may
never be released. I wonder if there may be a market opportunity here.
It seems likely that the rights to such soundtracks could be bought
cheaply, and some enterprising person could put out small numbers of
CDs, perhaps having them available only on the Internet. Just a
thought.
