I need to find a very good dog kennel for my 2 dogs for this friday evening in the Boston Area. We live in Marin (SF Bay Area)...and normally have our dogs stay at a great kennel there : http://www.tappenhill.com/. i would like to find something comparable in Boston. any recommendations? |

I asked a friend who lives near Boston, and she recommends this service: Morning Paws http://www.morningpaws.com/services.html#boarding Morning Paws, unlike most such services, boards your pet in a person's home, not a cage. The charge is $40 for a 24-hour stay. The website says that they will accept only one dog; I wouldn't be surprised if they are flexible on this, for nice doggies who will behave. ;-) |

Gee, after reading through the Morning Paws website, I think even I'd like to stay there and be walked by Philip Schwartz! Here are a couple more options just in case you need a fall-back plan: The Common Dog: http://www.commondog.com/bedbreakfast.html http://www.commondog.com/mainframe.html Boston Paws: http://www.bostonpaws.net Doggie Day: http://www.doggieday.com/services.html I hope your doggies are comfortable in whatever accommodations you choose. Best canine wishes, V |
