Question ID: 23407
what are current conversion rates (visitors > sale) for online sales
of:

- luggage / travelware as a category

- higher end, non-electronic consumer products ($300 - 500 range)

Not interested in general conversion rates as I already have this, but
category-specific ones.

I may sound a bit dumb but what is meant by "Conversion Rates" here.
Are you talking of the unit conversions like dollar to other currency
or something like that?

Thanks

Hi there!

I've located only a bare handful of pages referencing visitors to sale
conversions, and all only in the most general sense (i.e how to
calculate).

Are you looking for some sort of specialized calculation method? Or
are you more after industry-wide statistics(i.e "for every X visitors
to high end consumer goods sales sites, there are X actual sales")?

Greetings.

I understand your question, and after looking long and hard I do not
believe the data you require is available. I can find no sources of
category-specific conversion rates.

I have done work in setting up an online store. The sources of data
would be sites selling the goods you specifiy. I do not think they
will sell the data to you.
