Hi,

You IP address is a unique reference to your computer at a given time.
Then you can't "trick" it on your computer. However, You can use
gateways so that your queries appear to come from the US rather than
the country you are actually in.

There no service than allow to choose the country you want to pretend
to be from but many anonymiser site are located in the US will do what
you expect. Here you will find anonymisers that will hise you actual
country : http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Internet/Proxies/

Another way to do this is to set up a proxy on you browser that is
located in the US. However, open proxies ( ie public ) are not well
seen on the internet.

Hope this help,

Mirgolth
