Cortisone injection into a scar caused a  dimple (some sinking of the
scar and the area around it). I want to know if the area will
eventually plump up or is it a permanent . I would like to find a
medical report or article about it.

This is a well known complication of steroid injections, and is
usually permanent.  The only article I could find about it was this
one, which only mentions this in passing:
