I joined adult matchmaker. I paid $200 approx. I inadverdently
supplied my email address without the "au" tag. I have forgotten my
password and the matchmaker cannot reach my email with the password.
How do I get out of this little mess?

I still make that mistake wuth my Yahoo email. It's really stupid
because, as far as I can tell, if you are webperson@yahoo.com.au, then
no-one can use webperson@yahoo.com. Otherwise you could email the
person that uses it and ask them nicely if they could forward the
password reminder from MatchMaker.

I would email MatchMaker and explain the problem, and let them test
that the .com email bounces, and maybe they'll be understanding.
