In MS Word, there is a limitation of 32 LINKED text boxes...after that
you can't link to even one more, and you can't link to another document
and keep going, etc. I need to link to 64 CONSECUTIVE boxes. I really
don't want to stop and start again. I'm already using the smallest
type fact and size.

This is a documented limitation in some versions of Word. Would
upgrading to a newer version be an acceptable solution? I haven't
confirmed that this would work, but it's the only possible solution I
have found.
