Google places importance on outside links linking to your site. Without some other sites linking to you trying to get listed is worthless. It sounds like you need to get some other related sites to link to yours then once that's in place you can go ahead and resubmit to Google. For more info see Google's page at ://www.google.com/webmasters/ You also may want to read over the basic guidelines here ://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html I looked at your source code and you may want to add some meta tags and improve on your title tags. While a lot of sites ignore Meta tags the title tag is very important and should include 2 or 3 keyphrases so the search engines can index your site correctly. For more info on meta tags see http://www.philb.com/metatag.htm or http://searchenginewatch.com/webmasters/article.php/2167931 Another way of getting your site banned is to be associated with "link farms" if you haven't done that, then that's good. Also, submitting multiple domain names can get you banned as well. Also, to keep up with the search engines I recommend you subscribe to this searche engine optimization expert's free ezine it's excellent and you'll learn a lot that will help you with your site, go to http://www.highrankings.com and enlighten you on all the major search engines. It's worth it's weight in gold and it's absolutely free. I love it. Don't underestimate the power of linking....to Google it's everything. If other sites link to yours they feel you must have a good site and something to say. No man is an island. Merle-ga |
