Question ID: 236013
I have a problem .I am helping a friend set up a center that
specializes in training in IT and in some cases business and
management courses.

He has already confirmed the name ( lets say it is XYZ ) but he does
not want to call it XYZ College /Institute or Academy. He also does
not like the word training centre or just centre .So XYZ Academy,
College,Institute,Training Center, Center etc is out .

Any ideas of something nice to add to it .?

Hi Jack

Thanks for the response.

Had thought of School but does XYZ School Of Business & Technology
seem "lower in status " than XYZ College Of Business & Technology. In
the eyes of the potential student , would they see a " school " to be
2nd rate to a "college " ?

Hi Marrett. No, i wouldn't say that. Personally i think "School"
sounds *more* professional than College. A School can be any kind of
learning institution for any age/level of instruction. "School of
Business & Technology" sounds more specialised than "College of
Business & Technology", and it has a nicer ring to it as well! Would
you agree?
