Question ID: 236138
I'd like some help with drawing up a shortlist of the most influential
figures in UK e-business over the last 10 years - from 1993-2003.

The people that we're interested in are those who have had the
greatest impact and have been of the most importance for the
development of e-business in the UK. This is likely to include both
academic and commercial types though we're most interested in the
commercial and social applications of the internet rather than the
technology itself. So people who have applied the internet to help
change the way we live and do business.

And remember, *only UK people*.

Specifically I'd like:
- For each year, I want 5 suggestions of individuals who were of the
greatest impact and importance for that year. So that's 50 in total.
- I don't need much detail for each profile. Just name + reason why
you think they deserve a place in the list + links to relevant
profiles/news features.

Thanks for this. I think there are some obvious omissions here (e.g.
CEO of Tesco.com, the world's largest online grocer?) and there are a
few more ISP / technology types than I'd hoped for.

However, my main issue is that there aren't always 5 individuals for
each year as requested - in some case there are only 4, in others you
give a site rather than an individual.

Could you fill in a few others where this is the case?

Ashley
