I am trying to find info (book of poems, etc.) about a man named Glen M. Ellison. He wrote a poem called SLEEP. I don't know how old it is but I received a copy about 15 years ago. It reads: Sleep I cant slip into sleep, For I know Ill wrap my dreams around you. And one thousand times youll say, I love you, As your hair falls softly against my skin. I will gasp to catch my breath in the thick night air, And the milk white moon will dance the shadows on the ground. So there we will waltz to the whispering song of the wind. So there we will make love in the fog of an angels breath. Until the sun comes to kiss my eyes, Pull me from my sleep, And pull you from my life. Glen M. Ellison |

Dear Michael John, I wasn't able to find further information on that poet for you - maybe other Researcher will be more successful. However, I have found that the poem was published in the "Cosmopolitan" magazine, (according to the writer of this message, around 1984): A post in the Kevin G group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kevinr/message/18429?source=1 |
