Dear Joliette, 

I have few questions: 
- When you refer to IT Providers do you refer to ISPs ("Internet
Service Providers", such as AOL) or to all sorts of service providers
in the IT industry?
- If you refer to ISP, would ranking by numbers of subscribers suffice
as an answer?

Dear Politicalguru, 

I am not referring to Internet Service Providers at all, but to IT
Service Providers. "IT Services" are often being used as a synonym of
"IT Solutions", "IT Systems Integration" or either "IT Professional
Services".

Here is definition:

The market for IT solutions is a broad range of activities that focus
primarily on the development and integration of individual technology
components into working solutions for business markets.

Many of the leading solutions providers (IBM and HP for example) began
business as providers of technology products and migrated to the
solutions business, where they could leverage their product expertise
and customer contacts into a new line of business.

Many companies use the terms “solutions,” “services,” and “system
integration” interchangeably to apply to any situation where
individual technology components are integrated into solutions and
service and/or support is provided.

One would guess the list might include IBM, HP, Intel, CSC, Accenture.
SAP in Europe. PwC.

There is a famous top 5 of IT service providers. I thought they were:
1. IBM (after merging with PwC in 2002)
2. Accenture
3. Cap Gemini Ernst & Young
4. EDS
5. HP

(Intel and SAP are no IT Service providers as far as I know).
