Where can I get a list of healtcare organizations that use Lawson
Software?
A list that would include other software applications would be fine. I
would also need to know the major executives within these healthcare
organizations.

I think that Researchers may be able to find health care organizations
(and execs for them) who are using Lawson Software. What we'll need
clarified is, what do you mean by "A list that would include other
software applications would be fine."

Ekrupnik -

A task like this can be accomplished from several sources.

First, you might wish to look at Lawson Software pages to see who's
discussed in the company's case histories and financial releases:
Lawson Software (home page)
http://www.lawson.com/

Lawson Software's releases and financial statements make it clear that
the healthcare industry is a target for the company's efforts and it
has claimed more than 500 healthcare clients and 7 of the top 10
integrated health delivery networks as customers over the past year.

A second fruitful way to look for users is with Google. I've had the
most success finding users of corporate applications using the
following Google search strategy using either the sector or "users
groups"
"Lawson Software" + healthcare
"Lawson Software" + "user groups"

Note "user group" search technique is interesting because, while it
doesn't list the senior management, often active working managers
identify themselves.

So here's a list of companies known to be using Lawson Software in the
healthcare field, in alphabetical order. Where possible, links are
listed for the management:

One final note: there are commercial companies which track users of
information technology, the best-known being the Computer Intelligence
subsidiary of Harte-Hanks, though the minimum charge for access to
similar information will be many times that of Google Answers:

I appreciate your answer below. I have certainly scoured press
releases and have done some searches on Google. I was looking for one
resource that would provide me with all the major healthcare
organizations and the key software they use to manage their
organizations. Although, my primary interest is in organizations that
use Lawson Software, I would be open and even interested in knowing
about other applications these healthcare organizations might use
other than Lawson -- that's what I mean by the comment you needed
clarification about - "A list that would include other
software applications would be fine."

Thank you,

Ekrupnik

Ekrupnik --

Having worked in computer industry marketing for years, the best
database for the past two decades has been Harte-Hanks Computer
Intelligence (CI) database, as they pay operators to survey users of
computer technology on their equipment, software and purchase plans.
However, it's not inexpensive.

One other place to look, I realized after posting the Answer, was at
who's hiring people with Lawson Software expertise. Hospitals which
have the software installed will show up in employment ads.
