Question ID: 236624
I would like to buy ammonia liquor (analytical reagent grade) in a
small quantity, such as one liter or one gallon.

Previous searches lead to companies in India, but I'd rather not pay
for international shipping. I've also tried searching in "laboratory
chemicals" with no success.

I advance, thanks for your help...

One of these companies should be able to provide you with analytical
grade ammonium hydroxide:

But, I think it would be cheaper to look up a local chemical supplier
in the yellow pages and buy it from them...

Yes, "ammonia liquor" is an old name for a concentrated solution of
ammonium hydroxide (25-30%, normally 28%) in water.

"Ammonia Solution ... Commonly used synonyms Ammonia Liquor, Aqua (or
Aqueous) Ammonia, Ammonium Hydroxide."
