I am building a stock market website.  It is being constructed at
http://stockpatterns.com, but I want to use another name for the site.
 This stockpatterns name is specifically geared to stock trading. 
Although the site  I am building deals with that it needs a more
general name.  It is
going to have two news stories a day on it and then 4-5 commentaries
from different writers about the stock market and the economy. 
Similar sites are thestreet.com, cbsmarketwatch.com, kitco.com. 
Anyway I have a name in mind for the site, but am looking for
alernatives.  Something that is short - one or two words would be
best.  If you can come up with a name and I use it you'll answer this
question and get $25.00.  It needs to have a .com extension at the end
of it and not be already registered by someone.

Your Question -- if it is to be Answered well -- will require a GREAT
deal of time and effort on the part of the Researcher who Answers it.
It is my personal feeling that it is quite unfair to expect numerous
Researchers to put in this kind of time and effort, knowing that it is
very unlikely that they will get paid for it.

I suspect you will not get a lot of serious "takers" on your Question
for this reason, although you may get a lot of off-the-cuff remarks
from both non-Researchers and Researchers who have nothing better to
do. The really GOOD Researchers will be off Answering Questions for
which they will be paid. If you want a really GOOD Answer, I encourage
you to modify your Question asking ONE Researcher to post an Answer.

Why not create your own "science" and coin a name at the same time:
"STOCKOGRAPHY"

If it catches on and people start using the term, as head
"stockologist" you'll be on top with your ownership of the name. I
foresee your ability to depend heavily on the clinical concept of this
name as a means of promoting your site with custom graphics, page
design, and a variety of other unique, coined phrases. Ultimatley you
could create a very catchy and memorable site as the options with this
idea are endless.
