I would like help in assessing the size of the market for a small
'boutique' consulting company selling its services solving problems in
Operations Research.

If possible, I would like to know what the size, earning potential
(rates that could be charged) and interest in the marketplace are for
such services. Otherwise, I would like to know how I could go about
finding out such information.

Secondly, I would like a list of companies in Canada that focus on
Operations Research Consulting.

In terms of background:

Roughly speaking, Operations Research is the applied science of using
mathematical models to solve real world problems in (but not limited
to) optimization.  Its applications include scheduling, forecasting,
manufacturing, supply chain management, decision analysis, revenue
management, inventory control, linear programming and many more.
