OK, here are more information:

The spelling is Scottia Investment and they are based in LA California

Dear PLM, 

The only firm named "Scotia Investments" I was able to find, is a Nova
Scotia (Canada) based private investment and holding firm (mostly, so
it seems, in energy), owned by the Jordey family and with no
considerable action in the United States.

As per today we know that Scottia Investments doesn't exist in the US.
Our company got scamed by professional con artists.
