in steve pinker's last book THE BLANK SLATE he says that men practice
'love magic' more than women. Is there any way of finding out what he
means? Is this a known psychological category? If so where could I
find out more about it?

I have seen references to "love magic" as a serious term, but I don't
know if it has the same meaning as in Pinker's book.

Could you provide the sentences from The Blank Slate that indicate the
context in which Pinker used this expression?  (I imagine a few
sentences, or a paraphrase, will do.)  This might help us find an
accurate answer for you.
