I am trying to identify companies that have outbound telesales
operations in the Phillipines making sales to US businesses. I am
interested in companies employing (directly or through an outsourcing
agency) sales people to prospect US business, present
products/services, and close sales over the phone.

I also want to know how much money a good outbound telesales person
earns in a year in the Phillipines (Manila specifically).

Hi! I have found call centers consultant firms in the Philippines that
do this kind of stuff. But they are the ones primarily hired by the
companies. Such things are also confidential and call center companies
would not give out the details about their clients. If you like I can
list here the call center providers themselves and you can probably
ask a job there.

I think at this point this is the most practical solution to the
question. There is a lot of promise in the call center industry and I
hope you can get a job here.

Thanks!

Thanks easterangel.

I am not looking for a job :)

I run a company with a large telephone-based sales force making calls
to business to sell our products over the phone. Our sales are not
one-time orders but a series of orders over months and years - so
building a long term relationship is very important.

I am wondering whether this same type of sale could be made from the
Philippines. To answer that question, I am looking for examples of
other companies that may be doing it successfully.

I am also wondering what those companies are paying their
Philippine-based sales reps.

Any specific reason why you are interested in only Phillipines based call centers?

Why not consider India-based vendors, who have established excellent
track record in consistent quality excellence, exceeding even the
stringent expectations of Fortune 50 companies?

If you are interested in the Indian call center market, I would be
glad to provide additional information

Our engineers who operate our help desk (minimum of a 4 year college
degree) earn approximately 30,000 to 40,000 php per month. Our
telemarketing people earn less - 15,000 to 25,000 php per month. 40
php to the $.

With regard to the comment above about Indian call centers, I would
use Filipino firms even though they average $1USD an hour more than
Indian firms. The language advantage is huge and the cultural
barriers are missing in Manila.
