spinning 3 to 4 times each week ... do not smoke ... diet consists
mostly plant sources (fruits and vegetables) very limited animal
products ... I am 58 year old white male ... 6'0" and weigh 185 pounds
(small frame) ... rarely have alcohol. I am concerned about the HDL
drop and would like to get it above 60. What suggestions can you
provide and what concerns should I have given this information?

Your diet may be avoiding fatty foods altogether. If so, then you
would obviously see a drop in both of your cholesterol levels. Try and
eat more foods rich in HDL.

What did you change in the month of July? Are you exercising more?
Did you lose weight? Did you change your diet composition? Also,
there is some inherent variance in these measurements. How were your
levels measured and when do you plan on getting them checked again?

20% calories from fat ... minimal amount saturated ... exercise same.
I used a CardioChek device I purchased from health supply business.
Plan to recheck last day of each month. Discused with supplier and
now believe there was an inconsistency in the method used to perform
test. Believe matter will be resolved end of this month. No
significant changes from June to July. Salad dressing I use is flax
seed base high in Omega 3.
